About :

Sadly on the news today March the 15th, there has been an explosion in Lagos state Nigeria. An eyewitness reported what seemed to be a gas pipeline explosion that hit the Abule Ado, Amuwo-Odofin local government area, along Badagry/Mile 2 Expressway and many are feared dead.
The blast shook buildings with many brought down, roofs blown off and so much chaos in the affected areas.
The explosion occurred at about 8am as several residents and Christian worshipers who had gone to church in the area scampered for safety.

Residents of the area and those who were present at FESTAC, Ojo and other areas all had bitter tales to tell on various social media platforms as they lamented on the destruction of their houses and other structures as scores of houses have been destroyed in several Lagos communities after an explosion hit the city .
Officials of the Lagos State Emergency Management Authority revealed that a pipeline exploded around Abule Ado while the Federal Fire Service in a post on Twitter disclosed that they were tracking the situation.
I’ll be sure to bring updates on the situation in time. I sincerely hope this situation is handled as quickly as possible and I hope those affected one way or the other find the strength to deal with this.
